In 1968, HBC first presents a radio control for cranes.

The first HBC control for forestry winches premiered in 1972.

In 1975, HBC present their first radio control for hazardous locations.

The premiere of the first HBC construction crane control followed in 1978.

With the first spectrum transmitter, HBC starts a bestselling series in 1986 that continues to set standards.

In 1987, HBC presents the first handheld transmitter for the control of industrial cranes with push buttons.

Another success story is launched in 1991 with HBC’s micron transmitter. The name micron is still acclaimed in the industry.

In 1993 HBC first presents a radio control with display for the indication of crane and machine data.

With the expansion of the company headquarters in 1995, HBC sets the road for the successful development of the years to come.

HBC makes the leap to the North American continent and establishes a branch in Cincinnati / Ohio.
1998: Foundation of HBC USA
HBC continues to expand its international sales and service network. In La Wantzenau / Alsace, HBC-radiomatic France is launched.

With the introduction of the first patrol transmitter in 2000, HBC starts a bestselling series for forestry applications.

Since 2003, the linus series with its award-winning design convinces machine operators.

Always close to our customers: HBC establishes a new location in the strong industrial region in the west of Germany.

Even on the Iberian Peninsula, HBC’s customers enjoy optimum service. HBC-radiomatic Ibérica is located in Barcelona.

In Neuenhof near Zurich, a competent team handles HBC’s sales and customer service in Switzerland.
2005: Foundation of HBC Schweiz
In 2005, the first HBC handheld transmitter with display for crane and machine data is launched.

Since 2007, the name technos in HBC’s portfolio stands for an elegant, ergonomic design for diverse areas of application.

In 2007, HBC opens their new production site in Crailsheim with state-of-the-art production technology.

In 2009, the HBC subsidiary HBC-radiomatic, Inc is relocated to their new location in Hebron (Kentucky – Greater Cincinnati).

In 2010, HBC first presents spectrum D and micron 7, two radio controls with color displays.

2012: HBC-radiomatic Schweiz AG relocates to the new company headquarters in Othmarsingen (Aargau).

In 2012/2013, HBC expands the production site in Crailsheim.

2017: HBC turns 70
Our sales and service base in Dortmund boasts new modern premises which include a production area.
2018: New location in Dortmund
Our Hebron / Kentucky (Greater Cincinnati area) location doubles its production capacities for the North American market.
2019: Expansion of HBC USA
With our new 5" display technology, we offer extended options and numerous innovative features when using HBC radio remote controls with a color display.

In order to provide optimum support to our customers in the Benelux region, HBC establishes a branch in Tilburg / Netherlands.
2020: Foundation of HBC-radiomatic Benelux
By building a new industrial hall at its production site in Crailsheim, HBC has started the biggest expansion project in its history.
2022: Expansion of the Crailsheim site
HBC‘s headquarters and components production in Crailsheim present themselves perfectly equipped for the future in the company‘s anniversary year 2022.
